ESTIMATES: 

Basic estimates are provided free of charge. 

While it is preferable to examine objects in person, a preliminary quote can be provided based on written descriptions accompanied by high-resolution digital images. Estimates may be adjusted once the object is received and examined in person. 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO PAY? 

The price of treatment varies depending on the object and its treatment needs. The cost of a single item treatment can range from anywhere between $200-$3000.  

APPRAISALS/AUTHENTICATIONS: 

Washington Conservation Studio does not appraise or authenticate objects. Referrals to an appropriate appraiser can be provided upon request.  

SHIPPING: 

Please contact us to discuss an appropriate delivery method for your object. 

INSURANCE:  

Insurance of objects is the sole responsibility of the owner during the period of time that it is at Washington Conservation Studio.  

PAPERWORK: 

The following paperwork will accompany each project: a condition report and treatment proposal followed by a treatment report and invoice once work is completed. 

PHOTOGRAPHY: 

Each object treated by Washington Conservation Studio will be photographed before and after treatment.  

PAYMENT: 

Accepted methods of payment are checks and PayPal.
